Relationship versus money

Relationship is still the most important of all. By that, I mean your relationship with God and His people.

“We love because [God] first loved us” (1 John 4:19 NIV).

All of these will be “loving” relationships.

Relationship is more important than money (or material things) !

(This video not only conveys the importance of relationship. This is also to honor our father and mother who will be having their birthdays this March 23 and May 22, respectively. We love you!)

  • Don’t get me wrong.

Kung may nagbibigay sa’yo ng pangkain araw-araw, the need for money is only shifted to the person feeding you!

‘Di kailangan pumili dahil parehong mahalaga ang relationship and money. Huwag lang kalimutan mag-prioritize! First things first, ika nga.

Remember always your priorities.

  • God first. Dahil “in Him (you) will have (your) true riches” tulad ng tip ni Francis Kong (see below).

  • Mapagmahal na pakikipagkapwa-tao (sa iba at sa sarili) ang pangalawa.
  • When you pursue your purpose of loving God and people (note: kasama ka dito sa ‘people,’ hindi lang ibang tao; kailangan mahal mo rin ang sarili mo) based sa iyong mga gifts and abilities, money [or everything you need] will just follow! Kanino? Basahin ang nasa ibaba:

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” [ Matthew 6:33 NLT ]

The Most Important Commandment [ Matthew 22: 36-40 NLT ]

36“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, ‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.e 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’f 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

(Notes: Underline for emphasis is mine.
